Hello, MadLad224 here with yet another game. This time around I created a concept that I have been thinking about for a while, and that is Blackjack with a little twist- you bet with your waist size! As always there is a popping and non-popping option, not much left to say here, enjoy!

This is not Blackjack. This is a sad imitation of Blackjack that feels like someone was told the barest basics of Blackjack and they attempted to create a game from it. I understand not bothering with more complicated aspects like insurance, splitting or double down, but at the very least it should be accurate to how a basic game of Blackjack is played.

  1. In real Blackjack, an Ace is either a 1 or an 11, depending on what is more advantageous to the hand. Imagine my surprise when, after being dealt an ace and a 3, I hit, got a 9, and lost.
  2. In real Blackjack, all players are dealt two cards, and then the dealer is dealt two cards, one face-down, one face-up. Since this game only has one player and the dealer, this could be simplified to the player being dealt two face-up cards and the dealer one face-down and one face-up.

Also, I have no idea what sort of algorithm is determining the cards, but it seems to be a bit unfair. In my first attempt, I was dealt a starting total of 12 or 16 more than 50% of the time, resulting in a very fast loss. The dealer also got blackjack 3 times and 21 a total of 6 times. I, however, only got 21 once, and only saw an ace 2 times, none of which were blackjack.

Overall, not impressed.

25 points took me a lot of patience..

Definitely very fun, although confusing

fun game after all it it black jack, but the character model could always use some more work

(+2)

Amazing work as always! Do you have Patreon or Subscribestar? I want to support you.

(+2)

Happy you liked the game! And unfortunately I do not plan on starting a patreon. But hey, rating the game is also a good way to support creators!

(+1)

In the off chance you DO ever decide to start a patreon, I'd back it

some form of first person would be nice like that inflation rooms game you made (though idk how difficult that would be to add), and though an odd praise I do like the ambience a lot

(+1)

At first I actually tried doing it in first person, but the perspective just didn't look right and you couldn't really see the cards. In later updates I will add more camera angles though.

(+1)

Ah, assumed something like that, I'm just a big fan of first-person with these kinds of scenarios. Though I'm still hoping it will eventually be possible since the staticy cam doesn't do much justice imo and i just LOVE pov stuff

Very nice game! I actually managed to make it to 25 points, even though it was my very first time playing blackjack at all! I do have a few suggestions! Perhaps removing, or simply reducing the static in the live feed? And perhaps filming ''us'' a little closer. And also maybe allow us to choose the camera angle we'd prefer seeing while we play? Such as a view from above, or directly from the front maybe. I haven't encountered any bugs so far, so well done!

(+2)

Glad you enjoyed the game, I will definitely consider adding your suggestions in the next update!

Pretty good :)

Great video man, I'm very happy you're making these

Bug:
I had a 3 and an ace, making it 4 or 14. When I hit, I got an 8 and I busted instead of becoming a 12.
(EDIT: literally the next hand after posting this bug, it happened again on a second hand with different numbers.)

Oh yeah, soft hands don't really work as they should yet. Will be fixed in the next update.
